Lake Ligon*: A 4.5-acre spring-fed glacial lake is surrounded by a variety of hardwoods. A boardwalk, accessing a ten-acre wetland along the shore, provides an opportunity to study one of Michigan's most important habitats.
Forest: An abundance of pines and hardwoods comprise the majority of Ligon's property. Within the forest live numerous animals, insects and wildflowers.
Meadow: Several acres of meadow produce a wealth of wildflowers from April to October. Thus, various insects and birds can also be observed there.
Hiking Trails: There are 6.5 miles of beautiful nature trails to explore.
Quarry Pond: A small quarry with three observation decks.
