Low Ropes Workshops
Workshops on the low ropes course are held periodically at Ligon Outdoor Center for no charge to the customer. The facilitators will teach various initiatives and elements on the ropes course in detail. Included in an intensive day-long training session are information on debriefing each element with your group, how to control your group on the elements, safety issues, and additional reading information.
It it Ligon's policy that for every 8-12 participants (ages 11 to adult) one certified instructor is needed to use this program. Instructors can be certified through the Ligon Outdoor Center.
Who Should Participate?
If you are a teacher/leader of an organization and would like to bring your class or group out to Ligon to participate on the low ropes course, this workshop is for you. Everyone can benefit from ropes courses. Not only are they educational, but they are also lots of fun!
