Ligon Outdoor Center offers teachers and students many opportunities to observe, interact with and investigate the natural world. Some great outdoor education activities for students were created which include all instructions and background for the teacher. There are activities for all grade levels. Some of these activities have pre-visit suggestions and all are correlated to the new Grade Level Content Expectations so that you can prepare students in the home school for an exciting event at Ligon. Please feel free to offer suggestions, comments, and ideas for improvements if you use these activities. And certainly we welcome new ideas too!
